The Ingerv Group Ltd. provides the most technically advanced, fastest and most efficient disaster restoration service in downtown Toronto.

Ingerv has hundreds of commercial air movers and dehumidifiers, prepared for any emergency. Our state of the art equipment and certified specialists are able to quickly minimize structural damage and mold growth. Quick response and the use of our most effective techniques are vital to mitigating damage and preventing secondary damage. All of Ingerv’s staff is trained in structural drying and dehumidification, which are part, but not all, of what is required when there is a water damage loss in order to return the structure to pre-loss conditions.

Water damage requires prompt removal of water because water quickly moves away from its source and can penetrate deeply into building materials. Water takes a path of least resistance and can travel a long way in a short period of time. Our drying methods include a three step process: extra or absorb the water, vaporize the left over moisture with air movement and then remove the water vapour through dehumidification. The Ingerv Group Ltd. can assure its customers that you will be serviced by clean, presentable, certified technicians who will promptly dry your structure.

The Ingerv Group Ltd. is proud to provide mold remediation services.

The scope of remediation cannot be adequately established without an appropriate initial investigation that includes sampling by a qualified environmental consultant. Sampling prior to commencing work will determine if there is a spread of spores to adjacent areas.

Moisture is an essential condition for mould growth. A primary objective in all mould remediation is to identify the sources or causes of moisture and eliminate or control them. Evidence suggests that flooding for periods as brief as 48 hours can lead to mould problems. Other possible sources of moisture are condensation and building envelope leaks. Once the source has been identified it should be possible to track where the moisture has migrated to, which will make it possible to determine areas of potential contamination. It is critical to establish an environment where air enters the containment but does not exit except through the negative air machine. This prevents any cross contamination outside of the contained area.

In limited circumstances, air sampling for mould in indoor environments before and after remediation can be used as an indicator of remediation effectiveness. To be used in this manner, the mould makeup of the outdoor air should also be determined so that a side-by-side comparison can be made in terms of mould types present and their relative numbers indoors versus outdoors. Post-remediation air sampling should be conducted using a non-culturable sampling method as the mould may have been killed during the
